- Community interpreting
- Monolingual correspondence
- Translation of voice-over copy
If you have any questions, just give me a call or send me an email. If I can’t provide the services you need, I can most likely refer you to a competent colleague.
On request, I also offer translations in accordance with the DIN EN 17100 standard. This makes sense if a text is published or printed because it involves proofreading by a second qualified language professional. This extra expense is not always necessary or economical, for example, for business correspondence or certified birth or marriage certificates.
Certified / sworn translations
I also offer certified or sworn translations. I am a sworn translator and registered with the Heilbronn regional court (Landgericht). Some sworn/certified translations that are to be used abroad require an extra certification (Apostille) which is done by the regional court. If you wish, I will also deliver the documents in an electronic format (PDF) with a qualified electronic signature.
Larger projects - other languages
For larger projects or projects that involve several process steps, I can work with experienced colleagues. For other languages or language combinations, I can recommend competent colleagues in most cases.
Or try the German translators association database: search.bdue.de.
Information for translation agencies
In addition to English-German translations, I also offer proofreading, editing and backtranslation services, and sworn translations.
If you need a quotation or wish to receive a resume or information about my per word rate or daily/weekly capacity please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CAT tools (Translation Memory Systems)
Currently I only work with SDL Trados Studio 2017, which can easily process other CAT tool formats, for example MemoQ files.
